Expectations & Responsibilities:
- An eye for detail
- A customer-focused attitude with an overwhelming emphasis on providing an amazing wedding and/or event experience
- Be able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment while exceeding client expectations
- Must be a motivated self-starter able to operate both independently and in a shared office environment
- Must be able to plan, execute and schedule for multiple events with multiple timelines
- Manager will be the main point of contact for clients from original walkthrough and sales, through the contracting and planning phase, finalizing with day of services
- Events Manager will direct Inventory control, linen ordering as well as event set up, and event oversight
- Must maintain excellent relationships with the Guest Service Manager (lodging), Chef’s, Banquet staff, and Executive Food and Beverage director.
Required Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D., minimum of 2 years of event management experience
- Banquet experience within multiple hotels & resorts and markets.
- 3-5 years of Hotel experience
