Survey Technician Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Survey Technician, preferably within a civil engineering or construction environment
- Proficiency in using total stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments
- Physical capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and traverse uneven terrain
- Committed to a teamwork mindset; collaboration is a must
- FAA Pilot License is appreciated, but not required
- 3D scanning and processing experience appreciated
- Must be open to travel between offices
Survey Technician Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques
- Assist in the establishment of survey control points and benchmarks for construction projects
- Collect, process, and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Prepare detailed survey drawings, maps, and reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to support project goals
