Survey Technician Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Survey Technician, preferably within a civil engineering or construction environment
  • Proficiency in using total stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments
  • Physical capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and traverse uneven terrain
  • Committed to a teamwork mindset; collaboration is a must
  • FAA Pilot License is appreciated, but not required
  • 3D scanning and processing experience appreciated
  • Must be open to travel between offices

Survey Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques
  • Assist in the establishment of survey control points and benchmarks for construction projects
  • Collect, process, and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Prepare detailed survey drawings, maps, and reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to support project goals
