We are looking for a dynamic Director of Sales for our Full Service Hotel that has a proven track record of generating new optimal business, driving revenue, and building long-lasting corporate client relationships. Director of Sales Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Hotel Director of Sales experience in corporate and business travel market segments
  • Proven track record of developing sales plans, executing and meeting or exceeding goals
  • Experienced in creating marketing strategies and promotions
  • Community involvement
  • Knowledge of hotel industry trends and market factors
  • Adept in using Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency and fluency with PMS, CRM, and GDS platforms
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals and brand positioning

Director of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating room and event sales
  • Monitor and adjust rates and bookings for transient and extended-stay guests to achieve budget
  • Able to identify, qualify, solicit and close business across a variety of market segments
  • Attend and actively participate in community events including local Chamber and CVB both during and outside of normal business hours
  • Meet and exceed the expected number of sales calls and site visits each week and report on the same to the General Manager
  • Proven hands-on/shoulder-to-shoulder approach to working with the entire operations team
  • Proven lead generation, selling skills, and revenue management techniques
