Job Summary

As a Tax Supervising Senior, you will play a pivotal role in leading tax engagements, managing client relationships, and providing expert tax guidance. This position offers a unique opportunity to advance your career, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the firm's continued success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Engagement Leadership: Lead and manage complex tax engagements for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Tax Planning: Develop tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on tax issues, stay updated on tax laws and regulations, and provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Tax Compliance: Review and prepare complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Quality Control: Review the work of junior team members, ensuring the quality and accuracy of tax workpapers and deliverables.
  • Advisory Services: Provide clients with tax-related advice and recommendations for optimizing their financial positions.
  • Client Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand client services and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with tax laws and regulations, pursue professional certifications (e.g., CPA), and participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
