Jr. Line Engineer Responsibilities:
- Utilize 2+ years of manufacturing experience to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the production lines.
- Take charge of production planning as necessary to ensure seamless workflow.
- Lead and supervise a team, taking on the responsibilities of a team leader role.
- Oversee the operation and management of three-piece can manufacturing lines.
- Set up, maintain, and operate duplex slitters to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform equipment maintenance, including ancillary services, to ensure consistent functionality.
- Adhere to tolerances to make adjustments and modifications to equipment.
- Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations of finished products, identifying and addressing defects in a QA capacity.
- Participate in the development, modification, and compliance with SOPs
- Train new personnel in the requisite job skills, ensuring proficiency and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production disruptions.
- Address electrical line issues within defined safe knowledge parameters, applying electrical expertise to maintain smooth operations.
- Compile and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the production line to the General Manager.
Jr. Line Engineer Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, with a focus on mechanical and electrical engineering. (Engineering degree is NOT required!)
- Proven experience in a leadership or team leader role.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures, ISO compliance, and SOP development.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and report KPIs to management.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
