Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Oversee all culinary operations
- Maintain and develop superior sanitation practices
- Maintain and build the prepared food from a complementary perspective, while remaining true to our vision
- Motivate the market staff to maintain a sense of self-pride and passion for food, service, and high standards
- Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentation, signing standards, and monitor inventory levels
- Work side by side with the executive chef to increase and maintain guest satisfaction
Sous Chef Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience in high-volume food production and/or merchandising
- Culinary arts degree or similar a plus
- Proven experience in managing food and labor aspects of P&L and budgeting functions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Well-organized with the ability to meet timelines and show results through initiatives
